Golden Rooster announces the dawn When chaos first began, the night was endless. The Golden Rooster was transformed by the sun god, and it crows every day to dispel darkness and awaken light. According to legend, the Golden Rooster has a red crown and golden feathers, standing on the top of the sacred tree “Fusang” in the East China Sea, and is the messenger of dawn. The Jade Emperor named it the messenger of the morning god and included it in the Chinese zodiac. The rooster symbolizes diligence, light and vigilance, and is the messenger of communication between humans and gods.
